If smoke could sing, it might sound like this. L.C. Franke’s velvet vocals entwine with Silverada’s pedal steel, Rami Jaffee’s shimmering keys, and Mike Lewis’s saxophone on a transportive cover of Lana Del Rey’s Say Yes To Heaven. The second installment in Franke’s Southern Bloom series, the track bends jazz sophistication into Americana’s dusty glow. His sentiment ripples through the performance, each note carrying equal parts surrender and escape. This new release deepens the conversation with Lana’s ethereal ballad, transformed into something timeless. Franke shares:

I love Lana. She’s such a great writer, performer, and vibe curator. Completely genre agnostic, which I always strive for. This song is a romantic dream state. We could all use that right now.

The Southern Bloom project began with a chance encounter between Franke and Silverada’s Mike Harmeier on a flight out of Austin. Since then, the collaboration has blossomed into a series where country grit and jazz elegance collide. Following August’s reimagining of Franke’s “Prisoner,”“Say Yes To Heaven” continues to follow the journey as Southern Bloom continues to unfold. Be sure to connect with L.C.
