When the world goes dark, sometimes the bravest act is choosing to wake up. After a two-year silence, Lewis Capaldi re-emerges with a brutally honest New anthem, Survive. Out now via Capitol Records, the track channels Capaldi’s signature blend of vocal fire and emotional wreckage into a soaring declaration of resilience. Directed by Hector Dockrill, the official music video captures the song’s raw power. The track reunites Capaldi with longtime collaborator RØMANS, whose co-writing helped shape his global breakout hit Someone You Loved. Capaldi admits:

Most nights I fear that I’m not enough… I swear to God I’ll survive, if it kills me to.

It’s a pivotal moment of rebirth for the 2x GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter, whose emotional unraveling at Glastonbury 2023 became a rallying cry for empathy and strength. Capaldi’s return follows intimate Scottish shows in partnership with mental health charity CALM, where he performed without pressure to recalibrate his connection to music and fans. His 2023 Netflix documentary How I’m Feeling Now offered a raw look at the mental toll of fame, further cementing his reputation as one of music’s most honest storytellers. Stream “Survive” now and watch the official video below. Keep up with Lewis Capalidi on FACEBOOK, TWITTER, INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, and SPOTIFY.
