The ocean has a way of making impossible things feel believable. Minneapolis shoegaze outfit she’s green tap into that strange space between memory and imagination on close your eyes. Feeling like a distant figure on the shoreline or a familiar face you've never met, frontwoman Zofia Smith threads her voice through the haze of reality. Created from cascading guitar layers and soft currents of reverb, the song drifts forward as rich textures bloom in modern shoegaze balance. As the final preview of their upcoming EP swallowtail, the visual imagines a blue-tinted existence shared with someone who may never have existed at all. Zofia says:

I wondered about our connection to our dreams, how my mind could have created this person, or if I knew them in a past life.

Nearly everyone has woken from a vivid dream carrying the feeling that something important was left behind. she’s green translate that sensation into sound with striking precision. As the final preview of their upcoming EP "swallowtail." Following earlier singles mettle, paper thin, and empty house, each release revealed a different side of the band's evolving sound. From towering walls of distortion to intimate reflections on growth, love, and uncertainty, she’s green have steadily become one of the most exciting names in North America's shoegaze resurgence. Until "swallowtail" arrives July 10 via Photo Finish Records, watch "close your eyes" and follow on TIKTOK, YOUTUBE, INSTAGRAM, BANDCAMP, and TWITTER.
