It starts with a grin, then ends in a growl. The Technicolors crank the voltage with Gold Fang, a snarling and seductive new single that sets the tone for their upcoming album Heavy Pulp. It’s villainous. It’s slick. And it doesn’t ask for permission. The opening riff slices like a whip, with fuzzed-out guitars, moaning vocals, and a hunger that feels more like a threat than a request. With “Gold Fang” leading the charge, the band signals that rock is bearing its teeth. Lead singer Brennan Smiley shared:
It gave us a confident burst of excitement… a magical collision of ideas.

Produced by GRAMMY-nominated Robert Adam Stevenson and featuring BRONCHO’s Nathan Price on drums, "Heavy Pulp" was born out of creative retreat and raw intention. After years of non-stop output, the band took a step back, rediscovered their bite. The result? A body of work that sounds massive, urgent, and unapologetically loud.
