Toosii Lets "Nights Prayed" Carry "Platinum Heart 2" Toward Morning
Written By: Big C
The darkest part of the night usually comes before the answer. Toosii returns to that space on Nights Prayed, the first clear step toward Platinum Heart 2. The latest single brings his melodic edge back beside the open-hearted writing which connected with listeners on Favorite Song. His repetitive call lets the vulnerability lead while the melody keeps the record moving. The upcoming thirteen-song album also includes Please Don’t Go with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and a collaboration with Hunxho. Instead of hiding the difficult hours, Toosii lets them become the entrance into his next era.
Arriving October 23 through South Coast Music Group and Capitol Records, "Platinum Heart 2" will move from streaming platforms to the stage when the Platinum Nights Tour begins November 17 at House of Blues in Houston. The five-city run reaches New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Washington before closing November 24 at Saint Andrew’s Hall in Detroit. Bringing the rollout to communities and fans, Toosii wants his melodic rap to become a direct exchange with the crowd like the relateable song Proud Of Me.
