Some wounds don’t heal, they just etch themselves deeper. Brooklyn-based Bedridden have officially announced their highly anticipated debut album, Moths Strapped To Each Other’s Backs, arriving April 11, 2025. The album captures the chaotic push-and-pull of adult life, blending unfiltered aggression with melancholic introspection. Today, they introduce the album with its lead single, Etch, a frantic, emotionally charged anthem that explores heartbreak, anger, and the restless desire for release. With jagged guitar harmonies and frontman Jack Riley’s visceral vocals, the track thrashes like a fight you can't walk away from. Riley says:
'Etch' was a rhythmic accident that didn’t stem from any direct inspirations. It came from dreaming of fighting, winning, and defaming my competitor. It’s frantic, lacks a tonal center, and feels like a regretful fistfight that I was longing for.

Originally formed in New Orleans, Bedridden began as Riley’s project before expanding into a fully realized band featuring bassist Sebastian Duzian, drummer Nicholas Pedroza, and newly added guitarist Wesley Wolffe after relocating to Brooklyn. Their 2023 debut EP, Amateur Heartthrob, quickly earned a loyal underground following, setting the stage for their first full-length release. The band will hit the road next month, making their SXSW debut while traveling down the East Coast and South. Fans can catch them tonight at Baby’s All Right for a Perfectly Imperfect-presented show with Punchlove and Silvia K. With "Moths Strapped To Each Other’s Backs" on the horizon, Bedridden are gearing up to make 2025 their breakout year. Listen to "Etch" now and connect with the band on INSTAGRAM, BANDCAMP, and SPOTIFY.
